Mercy Aigbe trolled for hailing Sanwo-Olu on social media

Sanwo-Olu who was sworn-in on May 29 took to social media to make a pledge to Lagosians concerning in how he will use his position as governor to stir the state in the right direction.
He wrote:
We owe it to you all to be accountable for our every action. We are aware of the realities on ground, hence our push from day one. Good roads, housing, security, good education, clean environment, effective transportation channels, affordable and qualitative healthcare, etc are our rights and not privileges. Therefore, we will continue to strategize, work and collaborate with relevant agencies and authorities of different sectors to ensure we’re not deprived of our rights. To kickstart our day today, I signed the 2019 appropriation bill into law. This will enable us complete projects and kickstart new developments #foragreaterlagos @drobafemihamzat”

Her post didn’t sit well with some social media users who trolled her after remembering how the immediate past governor of the state, Akinwunmi Ambode, was rumored to have had a relationship with her and allegedly bought a house for her.
